For a lot of kids involved in the ball scene, their house was literally their only family. I can say the same. Instead of me having to deal with that headache, I was like, let me just leave.

My family were the House of Mizrahi and some of the leaders there, they helped me mold myself into who I am today. Without that I would have been lost.
